Burlington, ON: December 13, 2010 – Henry and Doris McDonagh celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Monday at the Trafalgar Retirement Home’s Christmas party.

Married on Dec. 14, 1940, the couple’s achievement is quite extraordinary.

“I have been working with seniors for a long time,” said Jocelyn Garrett, a lifestyle consultant at the home. “I haven’t had the opportunity or pleasure to have somebody reach their 70th wedding anniversary.”
