Burlington, ON: November 21, 2010 – The Soup Sisters made about 150 bowls of soup at Le Chef Complet. The volunteer group takes more than 12 volunteers once a month to create soup for shelters housing female victims of abuse and their children. The soup, which is a complete meal with meat, pasta and vegetables, is packed and frozen in bags. They also produce a vegetarian option.
